Where it all began…

Our story started back in 1997 when our founders, Dean and Janet Hoyle, opened the very first cardfactory store on Teall Street in Wakefield – and we’ve come a long way since then. 

Now, we’re the UK’s leading specialist retailer of cards, gifts and celebration essentials. We have over 1,000 stores across the UK and Ireland, plus an easy-to-use website and a handy app for shopping on the go.

We’re also helping more people celebrate globally, with experienced Franchise and Wholesale Partners who have brought the cardfactory party to their markets.
